Railway Station, Saeedabad, Matiari




Saeedabad town was connected with rail road in 1931. Following railway facility given to the area, a station was established giving further relief to the area. The rail facility continued giving relief to the local people until the 1980s, however, it was closed down along with several other stations of loop line spreading in Sindh following a major policy shift in by the federal government.

Following its closure the entire railway land was occupied lay the encroachers and the station building was converted into HESCO offices.

The rest of the land has been converted into a recreational park.
