This Motel building has been built in 1969 by district council Larkana on the land of Archaeology when tourism department was associated with Ministry of education. Pakistan Tourism Department Corporation has been established in 1970 by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and this building had been given to PTDC as Mohenjo daro branch of its channels. At its first shape the building had two rooms, one hall and a restaurant. This Motel had been given the license of liquor when its contractor was Bachu Bhai whose lease charter was canceled by Khalid Kharal (then Deputy Commissioner Larkana) and the building was again returned to PTDC. In 1989 4 new rooms from its eastern (facing Airport) sided were added while in 2010 other four rooms has been constructed on western side the Motel.
