The single landing field of aero planes for the suburbs of Larkana district is Mohenjo Daro Airport which is positioned at a distance of 28 Kilometers from Larkana city on North-eastern shoulders of 5000 years old seat of Indus Valley Civilization Mohenjo Daro. During reign of Field Marshal Ayub Khan in 1958, this airport has been launched honoring the efforts of Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto to facilitate archaeologists who visited to this location. Second phase of Mohenjo Daro Airport has been constructed in 1967 when PIA commonly started its operation. Now Pakistan International Airlines PIA exercises regular flight services since its inception.
