For the educational well being of the Muslims of Sub-continent following the genuine efforts of Mr. Hassan All Effandi the branches of Muhammedan Association has been established in more or less all major cities of India. Associating the purpose of Mr. Etlandi the foundation stone of this oversize but beautiful building as Madersatul Islam has been laid out on 17th April 1901 by collective efforts of local landlords, land owners and then Assistant Commissioner of Larkana Mr. G. H Looper. Great Sindhi scholars, social workers, political leaders like Allama Daudpoto, Ayub Khuhro and Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto etc: got education from here due to esteemed quality of education. Sir Shahnawaz Bhutto became first president of Larkana District in 1921 he took efforts for the improvement of this institution and in 1928 second portion of this building had been con- structed to meet the capacity of enhancing admissions.
In commencement the primary education in local languages were given along with English language. In 1930/31 it has been given status of Government High School while in 1948 Madersa has been ended in favor of High School and its building left only to serve as Boarding house. This time this building is erected on northern end of Station Road and serving as Government Girls Degree College. This is an old structure of Larkana city. A quarter part of this building has been served as the lodging place of Mir Fateh Ali Khan Talpur. In its southern side there have been servant quarters while exact at the present Tomb of Jaral Shah Bukhari there had been Tabeela of their horses.
