Sugarcane research station was established in 1973-1974 with the cooperation of China in Naudero city on Larkana-Sukkur road. The covered area of this explorative class is 20 acres. This station is working on unusual aspects of sugarcane to select out the high squashy, good ratooner, rich in sugar, resistant to water logging varieties etc:. The newest technologies in this connection are being developed to make best use of the cane production so as to achieve the cane requirements of Larkana Sugar Mill. It is also performing the research on fuzz growing to develop the new high yielding varieties with above stated results.
