A multi storied building in Shaikh Kareem Bakhsh Street and Shahdadi Muhallah is one of the prominent old buildings of the town which is also visible from the top of Kanayalal Cottage, opposite Ayub Bridge.
It is said a Hindu merchant build this building to help his son to establish a hospital. The year of the building is not known but the present occupant Mr. Khaleel Ahmed Shaikh says that until partition of India, the building was being utilized as a School. It spreads over 450 square feet.
The upper portions of the building are no more in use and the owners are searching an opportunity to sale out the building.
The architectural outlook of the building very much resemble with the cluster of buildings of same origin in the village Marri Mandodero. Like the other buildings of the same origin, it is believe to have been occupied by the spirit.
