Dargah Ghulam Haider Faqeer Shar Baloch (1215-1278 Hijri) is situated in village Mangho Faqeer Shar in Taluka Thari Mirwah. This was built by Mir Ali Murad Khan Talpur-I, who used to respect him. Ghulam Haider alias Godrrio Faqeer was the disciple of the Faqeer Nanak Yousuf Khokhar. In his frist meeting with his mentor Nank Faqeer, he composed a verse which reads as;
"Preen kayo panhinjo kaee Nanak Shah Nigah,
Mard mureedan san theo hamesha hamrah,
Ghulam Haider ghair wayo say theo suhno sah pasah"
In his poetic compositions he was not only admirer of his mentor alone but he seems more respectful to the mentor of his mentor (Hazrat Sachal Sarmast) which is visible from the following verse.
"Moaj charrhee Mehran Jee Darazee Darya
Rang lae janhin lal kayo nangay Nanak Shah
Keen Chadeendo karinee wado ah wesah
Ghulam Haider Sadqay sadqay preen tan pasah."
His father Raees Qaim Khan Shar Baloch was the influential man of the area and had the powers of a first-class magistrate. Godrrio Faqeer, initially joined government service but soon afterwards he quit it and adopted the life of a Sufi Faqeer. He was very much popular among the local peers, faqeers and religious scholars. While renowned Sufi saints like Khush Khair Muhammad Faqeer Heesbani, Loung Faqeer Mahesar and Usman Faqeer Sangi were among his close associates. Syed Ghulam Moheeyuddin Shah, Peer of Ranipur, was his follower and then ruler of Khairpur State Mir Ali Murad Khan Talpur used to look after him very respectfully. His poetic works spread in Sindhi, Siraiki, Urdu and Persian languages. In December 2006, Shah Abdul Latif University's Sachal Chair published his kalam which was compiled by Mr. Altaf Aseem.
