Dargah of Hazrat Chattan Shah Bukhari is situated at a brief distance from Dargah Shadi Shaheed on a hill top. Beneath the hill, there lies the shrine of Alam Shair Bukhari, who is stated to be elder brother of Hazrat Chattan Shah. Rendezvous of saintly figures in the treacherous hilly or arid zones is a peculiar feature of district Khairpur. Many saints have justified their selection of resting place in the heart of hills or in the centre of sand dunes of Achrro Thar on the basis of hypothesis that this whole area was once under the control of non Muslim rules. As an effort to offer relief to the common man from those despots, these pious men grew in abundance in the area and preached trith. Although, the date of birth or death of this pious man is not confirmed, however, the architectural design of his mausoleum suggests to be as older as couple of centuries. Despite the fact that the shrine is difficult to be accessed, but the piligrams regularly visit it and pay their respects.

It is said that Chattan Shah is the leader of all the saints buried in the area and all those saints daily used to coverage at his Dargah.

The interior of the dome is plain and without paintings, as is the common feature of mausoleums of the contemporary period.

The outskirts of Dargah is full of scattered broken earthen pottery of unknown period. Syed Panjal Shah Badshah is the Dargah nashin of this shrine.
