The road which leads to the three prominent Dargahs of Loung Faqeer (1233 Hijri), Shadi Shaheed and Chattan Shah Bukhari originate from National Highway outside Khairpur city, towards east via Mumtaz collage. It is located at a distance of about 20 kilometers and 30 minutes drive from the highway. Dargah of Shadi Shaheed is surrounded by a vast graveyard of Baloch tribe and is situated in the lap of Rohri hills, opposite the abundant schemes of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. This Shrine is a much visited place of the area. The mausoleum houses nine graves including Hazrat Shadi Shaheed. Some Arabic and Persion verses are inscribed on the interior walls of the tomb. More importantly, the circle of the shrine also bears the paintings of various dargahs and mausoleums.
The popularity of Dargah of Shadi Shaheed lies in its quick cure for the patients from chronic head ach and other diseases. It is said that the patients suffering from the chronic head ach used to through here in large numbers and interact with the Gaddi Nasheen, who after knowing about the nature of ailment from the patient orders for 'Rote' (a sweet meal usually thick in shape and size) and a knife. He cuts the meal into two pieces. During the courses of ritual of cutting the meal with knife he used to recite verses from Holy Quran. The time meal is cut into two halves the patient start getting quick relief from the head ach. It is also famous that he was the mentor of Rind Balochs. He was the local resident and was Rind by caste. He was martyred in a war that is how he is prominent as Shadi Shaheed.
