Primary School Pakka Mahar Bakhshapur, Kashmore

This is an old building meant for primary school of the village Pakka Mahar near Bakhshapur Architectural design of this school is very much identical to the Ridley AV School of Bakhshapur, which was built in 1932. On the basis of this fact one can presume that the two-roomed school was also built by the administration of Mr. Ridley during the same time. Due to the some reasons the school became un-functional and remained closed for some time. The long closure of the school made the local population to make its use in other way and turned it into a public lavatory. The villagers say that neither the teachers nor the students are interested in seeking education. When asked why do not they complain about the absentee teachers to the agencies concerned, they replied that they can't dare so because of the feudal influence.
