It is referred to by some scholars as Lāhri Bandar or Jūnā Shāh Bandar and is a disputed site. Its a medieval site, as reported by the French Archaeological Mission. It has a citadel, an outer city wall, two mosques: one within the fort and other in the east of the outer wall (visible only during low tide) and a large number of local and imported potsherds from China along with other artefacts.
