The public library after the name of Mughal historian and ruler, Masoom Shah Bakhri was established in 1965 and was inaugurated by Mr. Ghulam Nabi Memon, then law minister. As per library records, it contains about 18000 nooks on varied subjects. It has been recently taken over by the provincial government.
