The Jamia Mosque Sukkur on Bunder road is city's main mosque with largest capacity for the faithful to offer prayers at a time. According to a rough assessment, that as many as one lac people can offer prayers at a time

The mosque was jointly inaugurated by Mufti e Azam Pakistan, Molana Muhammad Shafee and Mr. Muhammad Nusrat Hussain, then Collector of Sukkur on July 8,1955.
