Qaim Khan Shaikh Mosque, Kambar


The mosque comprises of a courtyard which is rectangular in shape with a boundary wall and wooden door. The dimensions of the courtyard are 35'-11.0” x 28'-10.0” exterior and 31'-11.0” x 26'-10.0” interior, the wall thickness is 2'. The boundary/courtyard wall is built with burnt bricks with mud mortar. The mosque is also rectangular in shape, its exterior dimensions are 33'-11.0” x 20'-1.7” and interior 29'-7.0” x 15'-9.0” and the wall thickness is 1'-10.0”. The covered area of the mosque is 694.955 sq.ft (64.56 sq.m). The mosque is constructed with burnt.

PERIOD: Late Taplur Period (19th century AD). Surveyed by CDC-EFT - April 21th, 2018. Approximately 4.21 kms north-east of Gola village, UC Gabi Dero, taluka Qamber and district Qamber-Shahdadkot.
