Dil Murad Railway Station, Jacobabad

Dil Murad Railway Station on the way to Thul from Jacobabad, greatly serves the interest of the local populace to commute to other parts of the country. The station is named after Sardar Dil Murad Khan Khoso, who was the prominent politician as well as an influential Zamindar of the district and was the resident of village Bahoo Khoso. The station caters the communication needs of near by villages like Madadpur, Village Raja Abdul Qadir Khan Khoso, Kot Jangoo Khan Khoso, Bahoo Khoso, Mehewpur, Sohbatpur and other parts of Balochistan. There are also some residential quarters for the employees in the premises of the Railway Station. During the floods of August 2010 the entire railway line washed away and the railway station remained submerged under water for few months. The station was built sometime in early 1950s. There are three Railway Stations in Tehseel Thul: Dil Murad, Thul & Mir Hassan Khoso. Mir Hassan was Dil Murad's son.
