Sirae Adam Khan Panhwar, situated on Railway Station Road is a place worth to be declared as national heritage because of its historic significance of having been once visited and lived by the leader of nation Qauid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He spent a night here during his visit to Jacobabad on 5th October, 1938. Mr. Jinnah was accompanied with his secretary Mr. Haqqani and leaders of freedom movement like Jamal Mian Frangi Mahli, Muhammad Hashim Gazdar and Sir Abdullah Haroon etc. The sirae (a travelers' bungalow) was constructed by Sardar Adam Khan Panhwar, grand father of Mr. Manzoor Panhwar (former Provincial Minister). The premises of sirae have been reduced due to uncontrolled encroachments and other reasons. The old rest rooms are in depleting condition & badly require repair works. Mr. Muhammad Ali Jinnah before setting off to his destiny, was photographed under a 'Kandee' tree in the sirae. The monumental tree still very much exist. Jacobabad was famous because of a political troika, comprising Sardar Adam Khan Panhwar (1894 to 1958), Mir Jaffer Khan Jamali (died in 1966) and Khan Bahadur Jaggan Khan Bhayo (died in 1959). This group of politicians had played vital role in the local politics during pre or post partition days.
