Odho Haveli, Jacobabad

Odho Haveli was constructed by Sardar Lal Mohammad Khan Odho in the beginning of the 20th century in the village Tajo Dero, Taluka Garhi Khairo, District Jacobabad. The Haveli holds rare architectural significance in itself. Odho Haveli can be categorized into 6 different segments i.e. Mehman Khano (Guest House), Waddi Marri, Chaunrow, Nandhi Marri, along with a dedicated Mosque and a water supplying facility. Odho Haveli is purely a brick wonder in composition with fresco and glazed tiles.

The Haveli is in a precarious condition as a large portion of its roof has caved in and the rear wall and damage to the lower part of the masonry is no different. Usually like in most cases rising damp, appears to be in major force in damaging Odho Haveli's brick masonry. The EFT approved the request for financial and technical support for the restoration of the structure. Work has started and efforts are being made to restore this haveli to its original grandeur. Pictures attached state the current situation after conservation works.
