The three- domed old Jamia mosque in village Chook Lashari near village Jumo Dakhan (across the railway line) in deh Garkino, was built in 1328 Hijri (1910). This was built by one Dil Murad Lashari (from village Haibat Shaheed), a disciple of Pir of Bharchoondi Sharif, Hafiz Muhammad Siddiq. The interior of the mosque is decorated with fresco designs. He arose as an staunch preacher of his faith and chose spots, such as Jacobabad, Kandh Kot, Rahimyar Khan, Bahawalpur, Ahmedpur & Sukkur etc. for his mission. He also gave attention towards the conversion of Hindus into the fold of Islam. He became popular in Muslims & Hindus began to hate him.
