Thu I town has two Railway stations, which were constructed during early 1950s. One is called as New Thul Railway station which is situated outside the town and the other is in the middle of the town. The entire railway colony is situated in the premises of new Thul railway station. Almost all express passenger or the freight trains have permanent stop here. The railway line passes across the town leads to Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.
