Late Mr. Hiranand Showkiram Advani established this institution in the year 1888 in a rented building under the name of Union Academy, which was changed into Hiranand Academy after his demise in the year 1893. There after in the year 1900, the premises of the school were relocated at the present building, which was completed in same year. The area over which the school building spreads is 16,626 sq. yards, which was granted by the Municipality on a nominal rent of one anna a year for 999 years.
