This red-arched double storied building, decorated with kaashi tiles is situated on Station Road opposite Lady Dufferin Hospital. Formerly called as Diwan Giduman's Sanskrit School and Library was established by municipality, mainly educating children of Brahman Hindus. This was an important center of Sanskrit language. The building, presently owned the family of P K Shahani, was once an important center of Sanskrit Language. It is pertinent to mention here that a large number of books of school library were got shifted by Mr. PK Shahani to his Karachi residence in the wake of ethnic riots of 1980s.
