Pokhiani Building is situated on Lajpat and Risala Road's roundabout, just opposite to Sindh Law College. The building was established by Vinyl Society. It spread over a vast area with beautiful arches. With being the most important commercial spot, the building has by and large met the growing needs of space required for setting up shops and hence promoted commercial activity in the area. Besides this, this building's first portion occupied for the residential purpose. Following the increase in population the residents have altered many portions of the building for their convenience but of course at the cost of its original beauty. Its arches have bricked up. Because of building's its arches have bricked up. Because of building's ownership by the Vinyl Society, the whole area has become famous as society.
