Tapedars' Training School on the main Thandi Sarrak, opposite old State Bank, was built during the colonial period. It comprises of two blocks of western and eastern. The western block was built in 1882, while the eastern block was constructed in 1905 and 1906. During the course of time, the building's utility has kept on changing. Following the imposition of One Unit in 1955, this building was converted in to the office of Commissioner of Hyderabad Division. Besides this building, there are two more blocks, which were used as the hostel of trainee tapedars. However, presently they are used as the offices of DHO Health and Wild Life Department.
