Matan Shah Graveyard, Dadu

The Matan Shah is a small graveyard on the west bank of Manchhar Lake, near Shah Hussain rest house. It is located at a distance of 39.3 kms south of Johi town, Taluka Johi, District Dadu. This graveyard has two tomb structures, tomb 01 (Matan Shah) and tomb 02 (unknown) along with some old and recent graves. Tomb 01 is in good condition, whereas the other is in dilapidated condition. The date mentioned on the tomb of Matan Shah is 1284 A.H. On the basis of architectural resemblance the tomb structures are placed within the chronological bracket of the Talpur period.
