Municipal Girls High School opposite GPO was established in 1933. It has unique features of Sikh architecture. A memorial stone on the front elevation bears following inscription.

Designed and executed by Mr. L.S. Ahuja, Chief engineer. Constructed by Mr. M.D. Nur Khan, Contractor. Isarsing Tiloksing, President Sukkur Municipality, 1933. The two storied school building four canopies each on the corners increase its elegance.
