Tando Bago town's public library, which is named after the area's great social reformer and educationist of the time, K.B. Mir Ghulam Muhammad Talpur, who was also the zamindar of area. The new building of the library was constructed under the aegis of the defunct District Government of Badin. The old library was burnt into ashes during the rioting followed by the assassination of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto in December 2007. The library is being run without any librarian and has acute shortage of books. Due to want of necessary facilities, the turnout of visitors and the book readers usually remains low. Ironically, the newly constructed building has developed cracks.
