Othian-Jo-Daro, Badin
The site of Othian-Jo-Daro is in a ruinous condition. This mound is situated on main Hyderabad-Badin Road, which crosses from the centre of the mound, dissecting the mound in into two parts. There are some burnt bricks structures visible on the surface of the mound. The size of the bricks is 10"x 10" x 2". The western side of the mound is occupied by modern graves and debris of ancient structures of burnt bricks. Cultural material is scattered on the site in a very fragile and damaged condition. During the present survey only one potsherd was found and burnt bricks of some ancient structures. Due to the construction of Hyderabad-Badin Road the evidence has been destroyed.
ACCESSIBILITY: The site Othian-Jo-Daro is situated on Badin-Hyderabad main road, near village Peeru Lashari, Taluka Talhar, District Badin. Surveyed by CDC-EFT - August 3rd, 2017.
