The site of Marri Wasayo is a large mound, its measurements are 682'-5” ft. in length 528'-0” ft. in width and due to destruction of the site the height of the mound is calculated approximately 7'-6” ft. high from the surrounding surface.
Cultural material was profusely scattered over the site, which clearly belonged to the Islamic period and there were some traces of burnt brick structures visible on the surface and within a section of the mound which was cleared by villagers for cultivation. The major portion of the mound has been destroyed and is now under cultivation. A huge water tank was dug for storage of water on the mound for agriculture purpose connecting a channel for providing water for cultivation.
Cultural material comprises of painted pottery with black painting on red on the broad rim of the neck (typical pottery found in Badin sites), terracotta miniature port (broken), Grey incised pottery and terracotta animal figurine.
