The present Judicial Complex behind the District Jail, was established following the demolition of old court offices. With the creation of Sukkur as a district in 1901, the district court was established in the army barracks, which were then lying vacant. The Judicial Complex was established as a part of Access to Justice program during the decade of year 2000. Besides this is also located the old residence of District & Sessions Judge.
