The site is located in desert environs in taluk Saleh Pat, district Sukkur. The site covers 160 meters East-West in length and 90 meters north-south. The site consists of a mound some two meters high from the surrounding areas and is located in the valley surrounded by sand dunes. Burnt brick pieces and brick bats were scattered all over the site suggesting permanent structures in the settlement. Material found from Ghob Bhir Site includes; weight, cores faience bangle, pottery sherds, shell bangles, chert blades, copper piece and carnelian bead. The chronological affiliation of this site is with Mature Indus Period.
