The imposing building of A-Section Police Station is situated near the Clock Tower. It is believed to be built during the early 20th century, soon after Sukkur attained the status of a full-fledged district. It's a two storied building with impressive elevation. The city police system was divided section wise and hence three police stations were established during the period which were given the names A, B and C sections.
B Section Police Station is situated in the March Bazar. Due to encroachments around the building of the Police Station, its outlook has been badly affected. While the old building of C Section Police Station, just opposite the District Jail was demolished about two decades ago and a new building was created on its place.
