It is situated on southern portion of Makli Hill. It is ancient mosque, which has been repaired an capactiy of nearly fifty thousand people, who pray on Eids every year. Nangar Thatto has been city of courtiers, princes and nawabs; it has many timeless cultural customs, which are nather unique. The Eid process of Thatta is the oldest custom, which is still in tradition. Before a day of Eid, a deputed person of nawab, riding on something, beating a drum, going through streets and heralding about ensuing Eid. He is called "godri". On morning people thronged to Eidgah for praying, which is situated on the Makli Hill near Mehdavi Syeds graves.
