The tomb stands on a rectangular stone plinth, 4 feet high, measuring 27 feet each side, and approached by four steps. The tomb occupies the eastern side and in the western side there is a walled mosque. The tomb proper is 16-ft. 3-in. square, resting on twelve decorated square pillars and is crowned by a conical dome with the basal exterior decoration consisting of a twisted rope design. The pillars on the outside show low relief carving having a lobed oval design with an extra cross motif occupying the shaft with plain base but honeycombed capitals. On the inside the pillars have angular flutes. On the top the parapet is plain but has merlons and extended chajjas. The cross lintels which rest on two corner pillars. change the square into octagon. These lintels have a long rectangular motif terminating in semi-stars.
