This monument is the earliest polygon pavilion found at Makli Hill, that is built entirely of dressed stone. This chattri (umbrella) makes its appearance for the first time as a funerary chamber for the celebrated Samma ruler, Jam Tamachi, his queen Nuri and their child. It consists of a 4.87m (16') diameter corbelled dome rising to a height of approximately 4.87m (16') measured internally, and is carried on eight free standing decorative columns capped by bracket capitals.
