The Masjid Iraq on Karbala road is attributed to Syed Muhammad Shareef alias Syed Mor Shah. But it is unconfirmed that Syed Mor Shah is the founder of this mosque. During 1090 H, procession of Karbala Mola starts originating from here. The mosque is also known as 'Doi Pak Wari Majisd', where annually tens and thousands of devotees gathers from all the country to celebrate the mourning of 9th-ioth Muharram. In 1992, a trust for reconstruction of the mosque was founded as "Mehfil Shah e Karbala Iraq Rohri" and Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi laid foundation stone of reconstruction of mosque on September 11,1992.
