Dhamraha jo Daro is an imperative location of Indus valley civilization which laid in a profile of colossal mounds near Dhamraha village which are still wrapped with the grime of national illiteracy. These mounds are 7 to 8 miles away from Badah city on the road leads to Bothro village while Mohenjo Daro is 15 kilometers away from here.
Mr. N.J. Mujamdar named this site as Dhamraha jo daro in "Exploration in Sindh" because of nearest village of Dhamraha nation. Mr. Dixit also camped here in 1928. Archaeologists assumed these mounds as "contemporary of Buddhist period" which are spread approximately over an expanse of one kilometer.
Periodically there has been found toys, coins made of bronze, backed bricks, different pieces of terracotta, huge jars, statues of Kali Mata (goddess), different pipes etc: by the visitors. On its eastern side of big mound can be seen traces of brick kilns which advocated the existence of any civilized city of Indus valley civilization beneath them. Upper heads of the mounds are peeping around into miles as if they are watching for explorers who may unearth the dark mask of time and picture their identity before rest of the world.
