Historic village of Tajal is located on the right bank of mighty and moody Nara Canal in the arid zone of Taluka Nara which may be ranked among the area wise bigger. Tehsils of Pakistan. It spreads over 2896000 acres with 58 dehs, 5 UCs and 3 Tapas. Its Deh Jubo is biggest in area, which comprises over 12716 acres. Following the completion of Sukkur Barrage Project, then British Government initially built at least five Rest House (Dak Bungalows) on the right bank of Nara canal, each at an approx. distance of 22.5 kms, viz; Saido Rest House, Sorah Rest House, Dadu rest house, Padhi Rest House, (it has been completely destroyed) & Tajal Rest House.
