Ruins of Deh Dhand, Khairpur

Ancient ruins on sand dunes near village Akbar Shah Rashdi is a very extensive site. Like the site one in Hussain Pato Deh, the traces of shreds of earthen pottery spreads over a very large area. Hither to no attempt has been made to excavate this ancient site by the concerned agencies nor any attempt has so far been made to undertake any research work. However, the local people belonging to Chang tribe claim that during night times they usually see flames of lamps shining in the middle of this site.
