Bhangoo Bihan Monuments, Khairpur

A small town of Bhangoo Bihan (the town has a good population of both the clans of Bhangoo and Bihan, that is why it has become famous so) near Paka Chang had once been the Hindu predominated area and following the partition a majority of Hindu community left the town and shifted to India. The town still bears the races of past glory with land mark well designed architectural monuments of Havelis.

His Highness Mir Ali Murad Khan Talpur, the last ruler of the state constructed a high School in the town with a teachers and boys hostel besides the school campus. It is contemporary institution of Khairpur's Naz High School and Gambat's Murad High School, which was constructed simultaneously (1954).

The teachers hostel is no more in use and if attention was not paid by the agencies concerned it is likely that the building may fell prey to the ruthless mafia who can dismantle it and use it for their own purpose.
