A few old architectural monuments of imperial era braving the indifferent attitude meted out to them continue to survive. One such building of the same era is a single roomed treasury office which is without ceiling. Besides this building lies the old police lock up (with two adjoining separate wards of male and female prisoners) of almost the same area which is now being used as a public toilet. While rest of its portions have been demolished and the land have been occupied by the influential encroachers.

Similarly, old Mukhtiarkar office and Tapedars' Dera ceased to exist and the vacant plot is under constant threat to be taken over by any influential.

Wheile the old Irrigation Rest House in the town was undergoing a massive repair work. Rest House is annexed with few old quarters of the lower staff. It spreads over an area of 4 acres.
