The Marrhee Wari Masjid is situated out side the Hingorja town on the left side of National highway on way to Sukkur. The area locating this pre historic mosque is also known as Marrhee Wari. The entire area spreading over 8 to 10 acres of land is littered with the shares of earthen pottery and broken pucca bricks. Almost whole of this prehistoric site has been illegally irrigated three mounds situated in the close proximity.
Marrhee Wari Masjid, which is located on one such mounds is a bricked masonry with only one surviving but very weak dome. The thickness of its walls is about 6 feet. This historical monument or its entire surrounding needs help by the concerned government agencies on SOS basis else the ruining remains of mosque are bound to lose their existence.
