With the establishment of protective bund on the river Indus, the activity in the area increased. A flood canal called Shahi Wah was constructed and a 12-gate red bricked bridge was constructed over it near Godee Bungalow, Buddani. The old bridge or the canal have been filled with silt and with wild bushes in the wake of desilting mission ever carried out since its constructed.
