Dharmshala near Clock tower on Station road is an old religious centre of Hindu community built during the pre partition period. Dharmshala is meant for providing shelter to the shelter less orphans belonging to the community. There are as many as 60 rooms in the premises or Dharamshala, which are occupied by the community men on nominal rent. A temple inside it caters to the needs of worship of the residents as well as the outsiders. It is looked after by the provincial Oqaf department.
