Along the agriculture and fruit farming, the District Tando Allahyar has archaeological and historical sites in its jurisdiction. There are ruins of Bilawalkot Fortress on Tando Allahyar - Tando Adam - Sanghar link road; which is a 200 years old settlement. The site of Bilawalkot is near Jhando Mari town District Tando Allahyar.
