Kandhkot is a main city of the Kashmore District of Sindh; which is known by its Anaj Mandi (Grain Market) said to be the second largest grain market of Asia. The tower is the centre of market, where the farmers bring their grains to sale from Kashmore. Tangwani, Bakhshapur, Thul and other areas of vicinity.
