The forest office known as JamaJar Jo Ghat in Khanote is the only remnant of imperial period in whole of the area. The single roomed office accommodation of the forest officials was ostensibly constructed here during the time to create deterrence against any illegal or unauthorized activity within this one time dense forest area.

Because of sheer carelessness on the part of concerned department, this historic building, which may be a hundred years old is undergoing fast deterioration and may cave in at any point if the preservation works were not undertaken on time.
