The Irrigation Rest House of Tajpur, built in 1904, comprising three massive bedrooms and a veranda is yet another victim of the sheer criminal negligence of the concerned government departments. Most of its portions have caved in while the others are apparently waiting for their turn in the wake of overall public apathy. The 3-roomed and century old rest house is at the mercy of thieves. Its valuable furniture and fixtures have been uprooted and stolen by the thieves.
