Noorullah Shah Graveyard, Matiari

The graveyard of Noorullah Shah spreading over 52 acres in the outskirts of Nasarpur town is believed to be an ancient one. The graves are mostly built of un-burnt bricks. The shrine of Noorullah Shah was under construction at the time of our visit.

The tomb stone reads as: "Noorulah Shah Noori, son of Shah Lutufullah Shah Rizvi".

The grave of Shah Muhammad Hashim Shah Rizvi (who was one of the elders of Syed Noorullah Shah), is also situated in the premises of Noorullah Shah Graveyard. He had believed to be migrated from Bukkur via River Hakrro in 927 Hijri and stayed here all along. His parents and off springs are also believed to be buried in this necropolis. However, Tohfa-tul-Kiram do not contain such facts nor it has detailed more facts about the life of the Noorullah Shah or his elders.
