The birth place of Shaikh Muhammad Tahir, popular as Oderolal is situated in Nasarpur town. It is covered in an octagonal ancient tomb, which has been unauthorisedly encroached by the local people.
The place where did he take birth has been covered with a marbled platform. The floor of the entrance of the tomb has some inscriptions in Sanskrit.
There is also an ancient well in the premises of this sacred place, which has been deserted due to stoppage of visitors to this site. The entire premises of this tomb has been gharaoed by the encroachers and more ironically the very premises of the tomb have not been spared and the space of the tomb has also been utilised by putting steel trunks, cots and articles of domestic use inside the tomb.
The usual or the annual gathering of the pilgrims has been by and large discouraged by the present occupants of this ancient site. Until recently, the premises of this tomb was used as the temple of Hindu religion.
