Mooski Mosque, Matiari

Situated in the Moosa Muhalla. Mooski mosque is a popular mosque, built by Moosa Pota Saadat family, and is entitled to their great grandfather. This mosque is said to be older than the present Jamia Mosque. In the norther part of this mosque, right behind the hujrah, lies the resting place of Syed Murtaza, one of the descendents of the Moosa Pota Sadaat clan. The Jamots (servants) of the mentioned clan have remained the caretakers of the mosque up until now. Qari Hafiz Muhibullah of Tricrrhi, Hafiz. Muhammad Badal Memon, Moulvi Ghulam Jat and Hafiz Muhammad Juman alias Hafiz Jummo Khaskhcli have remained the noteworthy Imams of this mosque after the creation of Pakistan. Hafiz Abdul Jabhar, the son of Hafiz Jummo Khaskheli is the Imam of the mosque in the present day.
